william01
JetBlue does not issue automatic cash refunds if a ticket price drops, but passengers can receive the fare difference as a Travel Bank credit. This applies to all fare types except Blue Basic. If the same itinerary drops in price after booking, travelers can request a refund of the difference within five days by contacting JetBlue or using the online “Manage Trips” feature. The credit is stored in the Travel Bank and is valid for one year. For award flights booked with TrueBlue points, if the fare decreases, JetBlue may refund the point difference automatically or upon request. Blue Basic fares do not qualify for this option unless canceled and rebooked, which may involve a fee. JetBlue also offers a Best Fare Guarantee: if a lower fare is found on JetBlue.com on the same day of booking, customers may be eligible for a $50 Travel Bank credit if the fare is at least $5 cheaper. Refunds from fare drops are not processed automatically; the customer must initiate the request. The lower fare must match the original flight’s route, date, and fare class. Changes can be made online or through JetBlue support channels. Credits from price drops are non-transferable and cannot be refunded to a credit card.
