categories for news

Hello, I am writing as an administrator of a certain community, recently my site owner purchased this add-on through the ipb store, but we are both wondering how to add categories in the news that are used in databases? so that I can put the relevant news into the appropriate categories, is there any tutorial on this? I was looking on the official ipb forum, but users referred me to this forum, how can I do it?

This is pretty simple and a default functionality in IPS Pages. 

In your AdminCP, open the database that contains news for edit.


Choose Allow records to be stored in different categories.


Save. Right after that you will see additional menu point Categories in AdminCP below your database. This a place where you create new categories and sub-categories, edit and set up options like permissions or fields.
